Archant Regional 24 sites

Brand creation, site design and launch marketing - the complete package.

The movement in the newspaper classifieds market towards online has been vast and rapid, with many US news publishers catching a very big cold. In the UK too, the speed of transition to digital classifieds has been frightening.

One of the UK's largest independent publishing groups, Archant, have invested heavily over the last 18 months in three major portals to feed the Group's many newspaper and magazine sites. Further were appointed to initially create the brands for these three key areas - Property (Homes 24), Jobs (Jobs24) and Motors (Drive24) - before designing and providing the CSS build for the three portals.

The three portals were all launched sequentially, with Further also responsible for the launch and ongoing marketing work for each, which appears in-paper and on outdoor media.

Stephan Phillips, Development Director of Archant Regional, the UK's largest independent community media publisher, who is responsible for the online classifieds strategy and implementation, commented, 'Online classified development is a large and ongoing project for us, and we've achieved a great deal in a very short time, bringing Homes24, Jobs24 and Drive24 to life. These sites now account for around a third of our 13 million page impressions each month and Jobs24 has been shortlisted for a national award at this years prestigious Newspaper Society Awards. I'd like to thank the team at Further not just for their expertise, but their eagerness to do things properly and deliver to sometimes very tight timeframes.'
